  • @truffle6082
Wilson Fisk is the most fleshed out villain in the entirety of the MCU.
  • Frankly, Fisk might love using violence, but he hates that he loves it. Unlike Matt Murdock.

"Willy ceased to exist when you left him in prison. And now, it's your turn." - The Kingpin to his father
  • I believe the cuff links also represented his mother’s approval of his murder of his father.
  • @ChiTownTx
Vincent D'Onofrio absolutely nailed this character.
  • Rest in heavenly peace, in loving memory of Michael Clarke Duncan

I think Kingpin was a great character but, he was taken up anlevel by the acting of Vincent D'onofrio. I wasnt sure about him being a recluse in the first season, but if you watch the other seasons, that was best for everyone. Season 3 when while was out in public, his power was absolute and seen by all. What in incredible character.
  • Quite easily my favorite Marvel villain on screen. Great video
  • Great analysis I forgot how great this version of Kingpin truly was. A shame Disney is ruining him
  • I would recommend doing Billy Russo from The Punisher Season 1-2
  • Yes yes and yes this review and the review you did on Ben Poindexter are both connected. Plus it is long overdue.
  • These are phenomenal breakdowns! Great insights and I hope you keep doing them.
  • Could you do fire lord Ozai from Avatar: Last Airbender or Lotor from Voltron: Legendary Defender?
  • This version of the kingpin never grew up, but the one in the spiderman 1994 version very much did grow up. The thing about Vincent's version is that he is ultimately driven by desire to make his abusive father proud of him by becoming everything his father was but bigger, the 1994 version was driven by desire to escape the world of rejection his weight (implied to be due to a genetic defect as he was fat even with only "approximately 2% of " his body was fat, rather than due to him overeating), his father's abandonment, his time in prison, and his own greed sentenced him to.
  • Kingpin should make an appearance on the Powerpuff Girls
