The plaintiff rented out his two-bedroom condo to his friend for a below-market rate. However, the plaintiff says his friend hasn’t paid the electric bill for seven months, so he’s suing him. The defendant claims he never agreed to pay the electric bill. Besides, the defendant says the condo was full of mold and his belongings were damaged, so he’s countersuing.

    I love how judges ask, Why didn’t you just move?” Why is it so hard to understand that everybody is not in a financial position to just pick up and move when you see mold? 😒🤦🏽‍♀️

    The Defendant knew he was responsible for the electric. He was intentionally taking advantage of the Plaintiff. In what Bizarro world type of backwards thinking do you think someone is paying for electricity for you and your family.

    As an 15+ year HVAC technician/contractor in Florida I can tell you high humidity in that situation is caused by poor design and installation by the hvac guys working on it. They don’t know what they are doing.

    Aaaah they are from my hometown and hes right they get moist in those apartments n houses. Mold grows rapidly in Ocala even if you clean it with bleach mold remover it may go away for some time but will come back with a vengeance and it gets hard to get rid of it each every time.
