  • My brother has been facing obesity problems for over 2 years. Even after multiple visit to various specialist we never understand what was happening with his body. Because of this video, we checked his cortisol levels and found out that it is 5 times the normal range. THANK YOU GUYS FOR THE VIDEO. Hopefully an endocrinologist will be able to help us out. Once again thanks a lot
  • @narday48
I seriously needed this explanation on “how” cortisol induces all the symptoms of Cushings syndrome. thanks!!
  • The best website for medical learning i had read about cushions for about 6 years and it’s the first time I actually understand it
  • I got this topic at my endocrinology exam. My professor was really strict and failed many colleges of mine. Luckily I passed:) Your videos are awesome and really helpful. May all of you pass your medical exams 🤯🥳
  • @osmosis
We've updated this video! We needed to correct a minor typo.
  • I knew when I saw the ninja that this was going to be an awesome video. I was not disappointed.
  • It's been 3 years since I know something's wrong and I had to persuaded multiple doctors to do some tests (diabetes, PCOS, hypothyroidism...) that all turned out negative.  And today someone mentioned the Cushing Syndrome and it was scary accurate. Scary. Period.  Thank you for this video that helped me a lot to helped me to be better informed and reassured me (a little). Be insistent on your health, be patient and last but not least, be kind to yourself 💖
  • 6:39 can we just take a moment to appreciate the smiley face on the kidneys lol
  • I was under high levels of stress for 15 years, working night shifts the whole time with a family. If I could get 4 hours of sleep a night that was a good sleep, even though I might get woken up 2 or 3 times in that 4 hours. I honestly was so stressed I couldn't sleep and any little startle or inconvenience would make my kidneys and lower back ache and pulsate like a toothache. Now, my life is the complete opposite. I work days, have little to no work stress, kids have gotten older and are pretty independent now and I feel constantly exhausted 😆. We thought maybe it would take a year to get back to normal it's been over 2 and my energy levels are still quite low. Need to try and get my body to not run on stress, cortisol, caffeine and anger lol.
  • THIS VIDEO NEEDS A ROUND OF APPLAUSE♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️ AND APPRECIATION
  • Lols can we all take a moment to appreciate the ninja detail please
  • By far the best lesson of Cushing Syndrome I have ever watched. Thanks a lot for the effort.
  • I’ve been dealing with a lot of health issues with no clear answers. One doctor accused me of seeking attention. But these things are happening to me. Someone mentioned Cushing’s syndrome and it’s crazy how accurate this is to what I’ve been going through. I just got tested for cortisol levels and I’m currently waiting on the results. Fingers crossed I finally have an answer.
  • Thanks for this video. It's super informative and non-judgmental. As someone who is trying to figure out their health right now, this was very helpful! Makes me less scared to go back to the endocrinologist.
  • A friend who is now in his 60s has multiple health issues from what we think was massive over prescribing of corticosteroid cream to treat eczema from ages five to eighteen. Some of his health problems are so serious and debilitating that he has been unable to work full time in the past thirty years.
  • I am in the process of being diagnosed with Cushing's. I return my salvia test today. I have already had 3 other exams and taken altogether along with the salvia test I am that much closer to a cure. I don't let fear take a hold of me. I hang on tightly to hope that there is a 80% cure rate. Right now I am excited and nervous to face the truth. I have been suffering from this for at least 10 years and it has taken that long to get this close to hopes of remission.
  • Please make a video about Acromegaly as well. P.S - I loved this video.
  • YOU ARE THE BOMB!!! THANKYOU SO MUCH FOR CREATING THIS PAGE!! 💋
