Let's talk about the best nutrient to boost collagen. Basically, collagen is a protein that connects your body together.

Collagen is in many different parts of your body, including your:
• Cartilage
• Tendons
• Ligaments
• Bones
• Teeth
• Skin
• Eyes
• Vessels
• Gut
• Spinal discs
• Fascia
• Muscles

The top nutrient that boosts collagen is copper. Copper has a direct effect on making collagen, preventing the loss of collagen, and making elastin.

Copper is a trace mineral that's needed in a very small amount, but it's necessary for the enzymes that allow proteins to form.

Symptoms of a copper deficiency:
• Swayback (lordosis)
• Loose skin
• Aging skin
• Hernias
• Weak joints
• Weak spinal discs
• Varicose veins
• Weak muscles

Benefits of copper:
• It transports iron
• It supports immunity
• It can help reduce excess sweating
• It supports endurance exercise
• It can help slow down greying
• It can help improve balance in the dark or when your eyes are closed
• It can help decrease uric acid
• It can help detox fluoride
• It helps warm your feet

Foods rich in copper:
• Liver
• Kidney
• Oysters
• Shellfish
• Shiitake mushrooms
• Sesame seeds

Common causes of a copper deficiency:
• A lack of copper in the soil
• Gastric bypass surgery
• Taking too much ascorbic acid
• Taking too much zinc
• Consuming too much sugar
• Consuming alcohol
• Consuming too much fiber (added functional fibers)

It’s a shame we pay for medical care that our doctors don’t/won’t/refuse to give us, and we have to literally go to social media for basic nutritional help and more. This is tragic! But thanks, Dr. Berg, for caring enough to help those whom their own doctors could care less about. Literally.
  • So, is anyone gonna call out how hard Dr. Berg works on YouTube? Thank you Dr. Berg for these wonderful, and life changing videos.

It’s because of this man I’ve been able to completely turn my health around. Ever since I started following him, my blood work continues to come back better and better every doctors visit. He’s done far more in his videos than my doctor could have done for years! For us POC and Black folks this is essential.

We Indians have been practicing the habit of drinking water from copper jar (which was let to stay overnight). This helped with many problems like stomach, skin, immunity etc. Nowadays due to modernization our people has stopped this. I am grateful that Dr. Berg showed us the importance of copper to our body 😃
  • My success story. I started intermentent fasting 6 weeks ago. I started for weight loss, but the secondary effects are wonderful. I havent added a strict keto diet. I already reduced sugar and caffeine intake several years ago. I am actually eating an equal to or greater than calorie intake since i started fasting. So the only thing i changed is eating in a timely manner. The first week was 16/8. Each week i tightened the timeline. I am now on OMAD. In 6 weeks i have lost 45 lbs. 4 inches of my waist. Mental clarity has greatly increased. I had to take pills daily for acid reflux, arthritis, and blood pressure. I am now completely off all medications. Zero arthritis pain. Zero acid reflux, and the blood pressure meds were causing low blood pressure, so my doc took me off them, and now my pressure is normally 110/65. I am 6 foot tall and started fasting at 255 lbs. I am currently at 210 and my goal is 180. Thank you Dr Berg. I havent felt this good since i was a teenager. My sleep is awesome. My energy level is amazing. Diabetes, heart disease, and cancer runs high in my family. For the first time ever i feel as if i may have a chance for a long HEALTHY life. This isnt a diet, it is a natural lifestyle. Much love to Dr Berg.

I'm a South African farmer. Most soils are not really depleted of minerals but from the functional microbes to unlock the available micro nutrients to plants.....exactly like in the human gut. Yes, soils function much the same way. If you can manage to stay away from pesticides, herbicides, fungicides, antibiotics and copy natural processes of the "soil food web" in the farming production practises, you wil find that our food wil become high in quality and nutrient dense, without deficiencies. If it kills soil microbes then plants, insects, animals and humans will pay the price on the food chain. It's a paradigm to shift, but very true. Just keep it real, don't use/eat stuff that you can't pronounce - it's probably not good for anything.

In India my parents used a copper matka or a very large pot to store water in winter time. That’s the water we all drank. Then in summer time they had a smaller copper jar where my mom filled water at night and we drank the first drink of water in the morning. I do the same now, my husband doesn’t believe in it but I’m teaching my children to drink at least one drink from the copper jar every morning. It is safe and healthy. Drink at least one or two glasses per day.
  • My daughter was severely anemic until we researched about copper. It turned her life around!!

  • I started eating shellfish this year and consuming Mass amounts of raw sesame seeds and now I understand why when I eat those items I actually feel almost instantly better. I had purchased copper as a supplement and my friend who works in a health food store told me don't take copper! The first time I took it as instructed I did not feel well but now that I understand, no disrespect but I could kiss your face a million times!!! I've had that sway back and anemia my entire life! I'm over 50! I love you! So healing when I study what you post. YES I DO go research after your videos. You ... You're good you.. you're good

Hello Dr, I'm from India, still believing in natural healing of body. Faith in my ancestors wisdom, where our grandparents lived a healthy life of around 100 yrs almost. We drink water from cupper vessel, cook in wrought Iron, iron, brass utensils, having source of micronutrients from different seeds in form of chatny, use curry leaves ( anti cancer) in almost every dish, the process of cooking each dish has scientific value and so many nutrition rich process. There is answer to every health issue in 'Aayurveda'. But modern world snatched that wisdom from our people knowingly.. unknowingly...thanks to you for providing this information, hope we will start follow our old wisdom 🙏
  • I've watched many many of your videos. Several a week. And I make notes and adjust my diet for my perceived needs based on symptoms or general health/fitness goals. One thing I've noticed is how much healthier you look now than from years ago when you started this. Lookin good, Sir! And thank you so much for the videos. Is anybody backing this stuff up? This data should be well preserved.
