That's honestly solid advice. I didn't know shit about lifting when I started 4 months ago, and a split like this would've actually been pretty beneficial to me. I'm on a ppl split now though.

I accidentally re-invented the bro split when creating my workouts ☠️

Full body is the best split for beginners so they can get down the movements and not feel overwhelmed

    1. Chest + tri 2. Back + bi 3. Shoulders + traps 4. Legs + abs 5. Full upper body
  • The best workout split is the one can stick and recover from. The training doesn’t matter if you can’t recover from the training or make it to your training session. Find schedule that is optimum for u.
  • I remember starting with the Bro-Split. It was fun. Now I try to maintain a Push-Pull-Legs.

Holy shit I've been doing the bro split for so long without even knowing it was an actual thing

I went right into PPL twice a week from not working out and have been going strong for almost 4 months now. Do what you want and what feels right and adjust as needed, our body is very good at adapting so don’t listen to people telling you what you should or shouldn’t start with

For me as a 7 month old gym goer Monday: Chest and triceps Tuesday: Back and biceps Wednesday: Shoulders Thursday: Rest Friday: Biceps and triceps Saturday: Legs
  • I’m not sure. Beginners need frequency and repetition to develop coordination for exercises. Hitting an exercise once a week in a bro split seems dumb if you can hit the same exercise 2-3 times with a full body or ppl split I enjoy your content btw. Quality stuff

I started with the overhyped ppl split, bc i only have like an hour time per day bc of school and 8h of sleep i couldn’t really train hard enough. The bro split is perfect, i really get a good pump and i get sore.

Solid advice brother when I first started lifting I couldn’t do triceps after chest because my triceps would be worn out so I did the bro split for about 8 months then switch to push pull and been feeling amazing

The truth is that it's just a matter of balancing your recovery. If you push yourself so hard that you have to give your muscle 7 days to recover then a bro split is ok but if your muscle is fit in 3 days then you either have to beat it up harder or train more often.
  • I have been going to the gym for 7 months and this split has made me crazy muscle

The best split for beginners is a 3 day full body split. The best split for advanced lifters(which you are not) is the split that allows you to continue getting stronger after you completely milk out your newbie and intermediate level gains. Obv you won't be able to add +5 to your lifts every week when you are advanced but, running a split that prevents you from plataueing for years is what every advanced lifter must aim for

I've been on ppl for 8 months now and was thinking if I should switch to a bro split. Thanks for the video, I won't switch.
