Here's an easy way to remove those dated pinstripes from your car or truck!

I Bought this eraser wheel on Amazon!

Not sure what Ford was thinking in the late 80s and early 90s with the weird pinstriping and graphics they would plaster on their vans and trucks. My dad had 89 Ford minivan that I once tried to take the pinstriping off of with a razor blade. That took forever and didn't come off very clean. I nicked the paint all over the place, too. This rubber removal wheel did an amazing job on my 95 Ford Ranger. It just took some time and patience.

I just bought the same eraser from Amazon, but had never seen it used thanks for sharing your video.

Thanks for uploading. Just got a 94 extended cab the same color as yours. Thought about doing this but didn't know what all I would need. Thanks!

The best vid on a non 3M remover I've come across.
  • Great job, very informative! I already bought the wizzy wheel , I didn't want to pay for the 3m it looks like that they are close to same effectiveness.

I’m glad I don’t own an M12. I’d be running pistol drills with it, the way that battery is lmao. Great video! I have a lot of decals to remove so I’ll probably have to buy like 8 of these. How do you think it’ll do around smaller more intricate emblems?

2:48 My '95 Ranger from Minnesota has that same "weird" 4x4 logos. Only mine are back on the rear quarters where Ford often put the 4x4 and FX4 decals. I think it might have been a factory or at least dealer installed option.

Does this work for painted on pinstripes too?

I just bought one of these wheels to remove the aftermarket decals I had applied to my 2017 Mustang GT so that I can start all over again with a clean slate to create a new exterior look. I am quite sure that you should thoroughly wash and dry your vehicle to remove small grit particles that could cause hazy micro scratches that will ruin your paint.

Did you find that the eraser remained intact for the most part (for future use)?

So did it damage the clear even a bit? And if so, I guess compound would remove it? .
